Ladder Ventures is a family office based evergreen venture fund. Our goal is to provide early capital to promising seed-to-A stage companies, and participate in each subsequent funding round through exit. We are not constrained by fund size, concentration limits, or artificial time limits to return capital to LPs. Our initial check size ranges from $100k-$500k, with the expectation of significantly larger follow on funding as your company grows.
Our team is always available when called upon. We are active partners with you as you continue to take your company to higher and higher levels.
What we look for:
We invest in people, first and foremost
We look for strong, trustworthy teams with deep backgrounds that can make the necessary pivots to maintain success as the business grows and evolves.
Measurable initial traction with product
We want our capital to fuel the fire you’ve created. Specifically, we look for companies with at least $25k in monthly revenue.
Easily definable and compelling market opportunity
We are more interested in long term growth potential than quick exits or niche plays
We also look for companies with a defined medium term (1 year) milestone or inflection point that will increase valuation for next round of funding. And while we take a generalist approach to investing, we tend to focus more in spaces we know (Software, Internet, Tech, Energy, Finance) and less in ones we don’t (Crypto, Medical, Food/Beverage and Hardware)
